HSE Manager
In the role of HSE Manager within a company specializing in the management and supervision of large-scale industrial construction projects in several industrial fields, you will be responsible for the supervision and implementation of policies, procedures and programs related to health, safety and the environment (HSE) on our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies in accordance with international standards and local regulations.
- Oversee and coordinate safety activities on project sites, ensuring that all work practices are safe and compliant with regulations.
- Carry out risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate identified risks.
- Conduct regular HSE audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness of management systems.
- Provide safety training to field staff and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication on health, safety and environmental issues.
- Ensure incident management and investigation of accidents and safety-related incidents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of HSE activities.
Skills and qualifications:
- Engineering degree in Health, Safety and Environment or related field.
- 10 years' experience as an HSE Manager in heavy industry.
- Experience in water treatment and industrial piping is required
- NEBOSH certification in occupational safety.
- Excellent knowledge of local and international HSE regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective HSE programmes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with different levels of the organisation.
Location: Southern Morocco
Type of contract: Permanent
Experience required: 10 years minimum
